Meet the Royal LePage® Services Advisory Council
At Royal LePage, we believe in the strength of our extraordinary brand, which is built upon the contributions of extraordinary individuals. These are the people who not only embody our company’s mission and values, but also bring forward knowledge, insights and expertise to our ever-evolving industry.
We understand the importance of feedback when it comes to our company’s success, and we value the input of our network. That is why we established our Services Advisory Council – a distinguished group of brokerage owners selected to represent our extensive network of approximately 20,000 agents across 600 locations nationwide. The purpose of the council is to gather feedback and solicit opinions from our brokers to help influence the various tools and services we offer our franchise owners, agents and teams.
Central to our strong culture of collaboration, the Services Advisory Council is a carefully elected group of 17 broker-owners and manager-delegates. These individuals represent the diversity of our network, spanning various regions, markets and brokerage sizes. Their commitment to the council for a two-year term ensures both continuity and the introduction of fresh perspectives, as half of the council changes over each year.
Shaping the Future Together
The primary role of the Services Advisory Council is to shape our overall services offering. Through the evaluation of new opportunities and input into the direction of new initiatives, these leaders ensure that changes within the Royal LePage network are meaningful and seamlessly integrated. Additionally, members are given a platform to share best practices implemented locally for consideration at the national level, plus have an opportunity to share challenges that can be brainstormed with their fellow members to get a new source of ideas and inspiration.
This collaborative effort doesn’t stop at the end of their term. Council members form lasting relationships, not only with each other but also with the senior leadership team at Royal LePage, helping to build a strong culture of collaboration throughout the network.
A glimpse into the Services Advisory Council’s impact
“I take great pride in being a part of a company that actively monitors and adapts to the evolving needs of its REALTORS®, continuously exploring new services and technologies as part of its commitment to innovation. The opportunity to be part of the Services Advisory Council and contribute insights to the selection and implementation of products and services to meet those needs is an honour. Through the collective wisdom and expertise of brokers across the country, Royal LePage ensures that its products and services are tailored to meet the diverse and practical requirements of Realtors in the network. On a personal level, the connections forged with the council participants and the Royal LePage leadership team have proven to be invaluable resources for me in navigating the ever-changing real estate climate.” – Lindsay Percy, Royal LePage® First Contact Realty, Brokerage
“I highly value being a part of the Services Advisory Council as I am able to collaborate with my peers in the industry, and with the award-winning leadership team at Royal LePage. Sitting on the council provides a unique opportunity to collectively assess and enhance new tools and services, evaluate strengths and weaknesses, and provide feedback on where improvements can be made. The creation of the council solidifies why Royal LePage is a forward-looking company that values the input of its network and I am more than proud to be a part of it for yet another year.” – Tom Shearer, Royal LePage® Noralta Real Estate
For Royal LePage broker/owners eager to contribute to this collaborative effort, the call for nominations for the Services Advisory Council takes place in November each year. It’s a chance to represent your brokerage and marketplace, ensuring that your voice is not only heard but plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business.
