Nicole Beinert with Royal LePage Signature Realty in Toronto gets ready to open her annual Pumpkin Patch event in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.

Nicole Beinert, sales representative with Royal LePage Signature Realty in Toronto, ON raised a record-breaking $3,300 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation at her 11th annual Pumpkin Patch event. 100% of proceeds were directed to the North York Women’s Shelter.

A portion of Beinert’s street was closed to safely accommodate 400 happy attendees who flowed through the event space. On top of distributing 300 pumpkins, 250 cobs of corn were roasted, and guests enjoyed balloon twisting, pizza, live music, a candy guessing game and a hay bales couch.

Special guests included MP Yaara Saks, MPP Michael Kerzner, chief of staff from the local councilor’s office, and grateful staff from the North York Women’s Shelter.

“My community really loves and anticipates this annual event, but even I was taken aback by the incredible turnout,” said Beinert. “This was our most successful year yet and on top of all the smiles that also means we’re able to give more than ever to our local women’s shelter. Knowing that each dollar donated makes life safer for women and children is the best part of all.”

Candy guess, corn on the cob, and a couch of hay bales were icing on the cake at Nicole Beinert’s annual Pumpkin Patch event.
