Phil Soper, President and CEO of Royal LePage®, is once again the top-ranking Canadian on T3 Sixty’s Swanepoel Power 200 list of the most powerful people in real estate, marking his 12th consecutive year on the list. COO Carolyn Cheng also ranks for the sixth consecutive year.
Phil Soper, Royal LePage President and CEO, has ranked as the top Canadian leader in residential real estate since the prestigious list’s inception, making this the 12th consecutive time he has been recognized on T3 Sixty’s Swanepoel Power 200 (SP 200).
Chief Operating Officer of Royal LePage, Carolyn Cheng, has also been named for the sixth year in a row, joining Soper as one of only ten Canadians to be recognized. Both Soper and Cheng moved up in the rankings this year. Among other achievements, the judging committee highlighted the introduction of the innovative RLP InvestorsEdge™ program. The SP 200 is the definitive ranking of North American residential real estate leaders.
“Being included once again in the Swanepoel Power 200 is a tremendous honour. It is inspiring to share this moment with such exceptional people from across our exciting, rapidly evolving industry,” said Phil Soper. “This recognition is a testament to the collaborative power of a nationwide team of leaders and frontline professionals who have created at Royal LePage a nimble, service-oriented culture – one that not only accepts change, but embraces it. In that light, I am delighted to see the fine work of my longtime friend and colleague, Carolyn Cheng, acknowledged. Her ability to take an idea and transform it into technology and services that genuinely add value for Realtors is a rare talent in this business.
“My heartfelt thanks to Jack Miller, Stefan Swanepoel, and the T3 Sixty team for their meticulous research and for establishing this influential industry benchmark a dozen years ago.”
Carolyn Cheng secured the 141st spot on the list of the most influential real estate leaders in North America. Cheng plays a key role in shaping the company’s extensive suite of products, services and coaching, which include business support, innovative technology and comprehensive training programs designed for franchise owners, teams and individual sales representatives. In 2024, she led the roll-out of RLP InvestorsEdge – a first-of-its-kind investor portal with a robust masterclass series for investor-focused real estate professionals, and a consumer-facing website for investor clients.
“I am honoured to be recognized alongside such an exceptional group of leaders who exemplify excellence in the real estate industry. This achievement is a testament to the innovation and dedication of our team, including those who played a pivotal role in launching our transformative new investor program. Their hard work continues to drive advancements in real estate technology and training, equipping our network of real estate professionals with sophisticated tools that set them apart from the competition and empower them to deliver unparalleled service to their clients,” said Carolyn Cheng.
According to T3 Sixty, the annual SP 200 list is compiled of the real estate industry’s most powerful and respected professionals factoring in the scope, reach and leadership of some of the largest companies and organizations in North America. Executives are selected based on an extensive analysis of performance metrics, individual biographies and in-depth discussions with industry leaders.
