How time blocking, community connection, and staying true to her values helped Trisha Zimmerling earn a place in the Royal LePage® National Chairman’s ClubTM

Trisha Zimmerling didn’t set out to build a real estate team, launch community events, or become one of Royal LePage®’s top performers, she simply set out to build something meaningful.
Since launching her real estate career in 2017, Trisha has steadily grown her business in Edmonton, all while raising a family and staying grounded in her values. In 2024, she earned a place in the prestigious National Chairman’s Club, which recognizes the top 1% of Royal LePage REALTORS® across the country, an achievement she describes as both humbling and deeply affirming.
“It’s been a truly incredible experience,” she says. “All the time and energy I’ve put into my clients, my team, and this business, it’s so meaningful to know it’s making an impact. And I couldn’t have done any of it without the support of my family, my clients, and my community.”
Showing up authentically
For Trisha, growth hasn’t come from trying to be everything to everyone, it’s come from embracing who she really is and attracting the right people in the process.
“One of the turning points for me was deciding to stay true to myself,” she says. “It’s okay to not win them all. The right clients will find you when you’re showing up with honesty and intention.”
That approach has helped Trisha foster deep relationships with her clients, the kind that last long after the keys are handed over. Many of the people she’s worked with have become part of her extended network, showing up to community events, cheering her on during big life moments, and continuing to refer business her way.
Building systems that support life and business
Trisha credits much of her success to one key practice: time blocking.
“It’s my number one superpower,” she says. “It keeps my productivity high, gives me space to mentor my team, and, most importantly, ensures I have time carved out for my family.”
Early on, she also made the decision to hire an assistant, a move that felt intimidating at first but became a game-changer for her business.
“Spending money is always scary,” she admits, “but being able to delegate the tasks that weren’t a top priority for me made such a difference. It allowed me to focus on what I do best, serving my clients.”
Ironically, it was when she started taking more personal time, planning evenings off, booking vacations, creating breathing room, that her business really took off.
“As crazy as it sounds, the more I took care of myself, the more I enjoyed the work. And the better I got at it.”
A year of growth in every sense
One of the most rewarding moments in Trisha’s career wasn’t a single sale or award, it was an entire season of life.
“The year I had my son, my husband joined me in real estate,” she shares. “It was one of the hardest years, juggling business, parenthood, and all the responsibilities, but it was also the most rewarding.”
The relationships she built with clients that year still stand out. “They showed up for us in ways I’ll never forget. They believed in us. And in that year especially, our clients felt like family.”
Giving back with heart
Community is at the heart of everything Trisha does, from her day-to-day client work to the events she hosts to give back.
Her team are all Commission Donors for the Royal LePage® Shelter FoundationTM, allowing them to give back with every transaction. They have also created local events that bring people together, like community garage sales and “Dog Park Treat Days.”
“It’s about creating joy and connection beyond the sale,” she says.
Looking ahead to the future of her business
Trisha continues to invest in her own growth, taking courses, exploring new technologies like AI, and learning from experienced REALTORS® at her brokerage.
“This past year, I unintentionally gained some amazing mentors,” she says. “They’ve helped me navigate the growing pains that come with success, and I’m so grateful for that.”
As for what’s next? Trisha’s focused on building a business that grows with her life, not against it.
“We’ll do anything and everything to make our clients happy,” she says. “But we also want to grow sustainably, with heart, with integrity, and with a clear sense of who we are.”
