Royal LePage Binder Real Estate was happy to be back on the golf course for another year – all in support of raising critical funds for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Held June 16 at Pointe West Golf Club in Amherstburg, Ont., their 18th annual Charity Golf Classic brought in $40,000 for the cause. 100 per cent of proceeds were directed to Hiatus House, a local women’s shelter offering confidential intervention for families experiencing domestic violence in the Windsor Essex County area.
The fun-filled tournament was packed with fun contests, draws, complimentary gifts, and guest speakers from Hiatus House and the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Plans for next year’s tournament are already underway.
“The success of our tournament would not be possible without substantial support from our core team, volunteers, players and sponsors,” said Frank Binder, broker of record with Royal LePage Binder Real Estate. “It’s the people who make this such a wonderful experience on behalf of a cause that’s very close to our hearts. I’m grateful to everyone for coming together once again to help put an end to domestic violence in our community.”
Thanks to the generosity of their agent network and valued business partners, Royal LePage Binder Real Estate has raised nearly $550,000 for charities in Windsor over the last 21 years.
