Introducing the National Commercial Advisory Council (NCAC)
At Royal LePage® CommercialTM, our strength comes from the expertise and insight of our people. Across the country, commercial professionals are navigating complex deals, building relationships, and driving results every day.
To further unite that expertise at a national level, we’ve launched the National Commercial Advisory Council (NCAC). This is a new leadership group focused on shaping the future of our commercial program.
This is a foundational step forward, designed to be shaped by those closest to the business.
A national voice for a specialized business
The NCAC brings together a select group of experienced commercial practitioners representing regions across Canada, including the Greater Toronto Area, British Columbia, the Prairies, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
Each member brings a distinct perspective shaped by their local market, asset class and business model. This structure ensures that a broad range of voices are represented, reflecting the diversity and complexity of commercial real estate across the country.
NCAC members serve as regional leaders and representatives who contribute ongoing insights and support national initiatives, while helping shape the council’s evolution and set the standard for long-term impact.
Bringing these perspectives together creates an opportunity for stronger alignment across the national commercial network. Through ongoing dialogue and collaboration, the NCAC enables greater visibility into regional trends, more informed decision-making, and stronger coordination on national initiatives. Over time, this will help build a more connected, consistent and collaborative commercial platform while still respecting the local expertise that drives success in each market.
Built to drive impact, not just discussion
While advisory in structure, the NCAC is highly actionable, with members providing feedback on programs, sharing market insights, supporting regional growth and recruitment, and strengthening national engagement.
“What makes this initiative so exciting is that it represents a real shift in how we build and evolve the commercial platform. Historically, many decisions were made centrally. With the NCAC, we are intentionally creating space to listen, engage and build alongside the professionals who are in the market every day.
These are the people with direct insight into what is working, where the gaps are and what truly drives value. By bringing those voices into the process in a structured and consistent way, we are better positioned to focus our efforts where they matter most and deliver meaningful impact across the network.”
— Matthew Zigelstein, Commercial Program Manager, Royal LePage Commercial
Hearing from our inaugural council members
“The opportunity to be involved at the outset was a big draw for me. This felt like a meaningful chance to help strengthen and evolve the commercial division in a way that reflects where the business is today and where it is going.
Being part of the first NCAC allows us to play a role in shaping a more cohesive, nationally aligned platform while still recognizing the importance of regional markets and perspectives. I was motivated by the ability to contribute to that evolution and help ensure the program reflects both the realities of our day-to-day business and the long-term direction needed to support growth across the country.”
— Jenn Cann, Royal LePage Commercial East (Atlantic Canada)
“I wanted to join the NCAC to help the commercial division and our agents grow, and be more recognized nationwide. What excites me most is the opportunity to help shape the future of commercial real estate at Royal LePage.
Commercial real estate is a different kind of business where we encounter a wide range of situations that require creativity. Most transactions are more business-oriented, which requires a different skill set, and that is why having a group like this is so important.”
— Olivier Maurice, Royal LePage Triomphe (Quebec)
“I wanted to be part of the first NCAC because I bring experience from both the corporate and private sides of the business and saw an opportunity to help influence positive change.
I am excited to work with this group because it gives me the opportunity to give back and help shape meaningful improvements for the future. Commercial real estate is very different from residential. It is driven by numbers and business decisions, not emotion, and that difference matters when building programs that truly support the people working in it.”
— Anne Tanner, Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty (British Columbia)

Looking ahead
The launch of the NCAC marks an important step in the continued growth of Royal LePage Commercial.
By creating a structured platform for collaboration, insight and leadership, we are ensuring that the future of our commercial business is informed by those who know it best. This is just the beginning, and the work starts now.
