In memoriam: Ron Pfeifer – 1957-2026

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Ron Pfeifer, who sadly passed away last week. Ron was a long-time member of the Royal LePage® family.

For more than two decades, Ron was the proud co-owner of Royal LePage® Regina Realty. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, and his relentless pursuit of service excellence and business development in Saskatchewan.

Many of us were lucky enough to call Ron a friend. He will be remembered fondly for his unwavering commitment to our national network, his excitement to participate in national conferences and events that brought our agents and brokers together, and for his support of the Royal LePage® Shelter Foundation™.

“Ron was all in when it came to Royal LePage culture and team spirit. You could count on the big man to be there — whether at national conferences, leadership meetings, or salmon fishing trips in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation,” said Phil Soper, President and CEO.

“My favourite memory of Ron may also have been one of his most painful experiences. We were in the same group on one of the early Shelter treks, in Iceland. Ron had envisioned the country as vast, flat expanses of icy tundra, when in fact the challenge involved scaling steep mountains and crossing narrow passes high above valley floors. Ron was a true flatlander and had a debilitating fear of heights. But, he was a trooper — at times dropping to his hands and knees and literally crawling up the mountainside. One tough Saskatchewan farm boy.”

Following a sudden and very difficult battle with cancer, Ron passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, supported by his family and friends. He will be remembered as a good friend and partner, and will be greatly missed. Our sincerest condolences go out to Ron’s wife, Tammy, and his son, Matt, as well as his friends and colleagues, and his entire community during this incredibly difficult time.
