Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services in Burlington, Ontario, held its 8th Annual Charity Halloween Chili Bowl, raising $6,204 for two local shelter organizations.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout,” said JoAnn Landry, president and broker/owner of Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services of the Oct. 25 event.  “Not only did we have our largest number of participants and sponsors ever, we also raised a record amount of money in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation which will directly benefit Halton Women’s Place and The Carpenter Hospice.”

“I’m very grateful to the event organizers and to everyone who took part in the 8th Annual Halloween Chili Bowl,” said Shanan Spencer-Brown, Executive Director of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. “Domestic violence is far too prevalent in our communities. The agents and staff at Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services understand that a house is only a home if the people who live there feel safe, loved and accepted. That’s why they are so dedicated to supporting our cause.”
