Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services held its 7th Annual Charity Halloween Chili Bowl on October 27, raising $4,246.71 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation in support of Halton Women’s Place and The Carpenter Hospice.
“Just when I thought the costumes and participation couldn’t get any better, our teams really outdid themselves this year!” said JoAnn Landry, President and Broker/Owner of Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services. “Our committee, led by Brenda Macdonald, garnered tons of support from sponsors and participants. We had the largest group of bowlers yet.”
Over 130 people attended the event. Prizes were awarded for Best Team Theme, Best Individual Costume, as well as Best and Worst Bowling Technique.
Over the past 13 years, Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services has raised more than $270,000 in support of Halton Women’s Place and the Carpenter Hospice.
“At Royal LePage, we believe that a house is only truly a home when the people who live there feel safe, accepted and loved,” said Shanan Spencer-Brown, Executive Director of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. “That’s not the case when domestic violence exists. Royal LePage Burloak Real Estate Services is part of the solution. They are dedicated to raising funds for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting local shelters, and they help raise awareness of this important issue.”
