Royal LePage Northern Advantage and The Real Estate Stop join forces

Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

April 12, 2016 – We are pleased to announce Carl Thomas and Steve McGuire of Royal LePage Northern Advantage have acquired The Real Estate Stop in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. This expansion of operations provides Royal LePage Northern Advantage with two offices now in the Sault Ste. Marie area and positions them for strong market share leadership in terms of units sold. The change is effective April 1, 2016.

Carl Thomas, broker of record, began his real estate career in 1983 and opened his own brokerage four years later. In 2000, Carl joined the Royal LePage network. “Royal LePage is a terrific Canadian company and nationally recognized as the voice of real estate in Canada,” says Thomas. “With excellent training and support services available through Royal LePage, our agents are in a great position to optimize and grow their businesses.”

Steve McGuire became a partner in the firm in 2008, after several years in a sales position. Danny Alessandrini, former broker/owner at The Real Estate Shop, will assume a sales role along with the 10 agents who remain at the Real Estate Shop’s original office location on Queen Street.

With a total of 36 agents, the brokerage’s four offices service the areas of Sault Ste. Marie, St. Joseph Island, Blind River, Bruce Mines, Thessalon, Elliot Lake, Spanish, The North Shore, Desbarats, Echo Bay, Batchewana Bay, Goulais River, Searchmont, Heyden, Montreal River and Iron Bridge.
