Royal LePage welcomes first commercial brokerage in Charlottetown, PEI

We are pleased to announce Tim Banks, owner and CEO of APM Commercial in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island has joined the Royal LePage Commercial network. The firm will operate as Royal LePage APM Commercial, effective July 31, 2015.

With the backing of four talented agents and support staff, Royal LePage APM Commercial eclipses all other commercial offerings on Prince Edward Island with more locally-situated experience and expertise in commercial and multi-residential property than any of its competitors within the region.

The brokerage brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of real estate development, construction, property management and leasing to the Royal LePage Commercial network. Tim Banks has represented top-tier clients in property development projects throughout Atlantic Canada and negotiated thousands of leases representing both tenants and landlords in all industry sectors. He is a member of the board of directors for Killam Properties (TSX: KMP) and is a Certified Engineering Technologist. Banks is a well-known contributor to Island life through his philanthropy and his frequent commentary on business affairs.

APM, founded in 1980, has been a full member of the Prince Edward Island Real Estate Association since 2004.

“We are excited to make this move to Royal LePage Commercial as it is a natural fit with APM’s property development, construction and property management expertise,” says Banks. “We also felt a strong historical connection with Royal LePage founder Mr. A.E. LePage who was born on Prince Edward Island and went on to build Canada’s premier real estate brokerage. We’re proud to add to that rich heritage.”
