Organizers of the Royal LePage Network Realty Corp. second annual golf tournament should be very proud. The company, with offices in Red Deer, Sylvan Lake and Stettler, Alberta, raised an impressive $36,000 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, benefiting the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter. The tournament, held Sept. 6 at the Alberta Springs Golf & Country Club, attracted more than 150 golfers. They played through rainy conditions for a chance to win a vehicle on six holes and competed for a $1 million hole-in-one shoot out offered to 10 lucky golfers, one of whom missed the hole by less than three feet. Tournament organizers include chair Marlo Ruttan and committee members Shelly Peters, Dena Arnold, Carol Donavan, Norm Jensen, Dale Swartz and Wendi Loupelle.
